Universalnewsgh.com is a credible, independent, and responsible media brand that values integrity and upholds the ethical principles of journalism.

While being aware of the freedom and independence afforded the media by Ghana’s 1992, we are also mindful of the limitations the constitution places on the media in the interest of national security, public order, public morality, and for the protection of the reputations of other persons.

The Universalnewsgh.com is co-founded by two Ghanaian media and communication specialists:  Yahaya Masahudu and Samed Akalilu.

Yahaya Masahudu

He holds a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana with more than decade experience in journalism. He has reported for national and international media brands including the BBC. Countrywise, Communication Ghana and the Northern Region branch of the Ghana Journalists Association have recognized his work on three occasions.

Samed Akalilu

He holds a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana and has vast experience in journalism/communication. He has worked with several media brands in Ghana including the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and the Multimedia Group Limited.
